Volunteer with us!
Our volunteer program gives people of all ages the chance to help animals, support shelter staff, and be part of a caring community. From walking dogs and playing with cats to helping at adoption events or organizing supplies, there’s a role for everyone. Volunteers get hands-on experience, learn new skills, and make the shelter a happier, healthier place for the animals we love.
Why it is Important!
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our shelter. They provide essential care, socialization, and enrichment that improve the lives of our animals every day. Beyond the practical help, volunteers bring energy, compassion, and community spirit, helping more pets find loving homes and creating a stronger, more connected community along the way.
The Impact YOU Make
Volunteering at the humane society is basically stepping into a world where your kindness creates instant, tail-wagging magic.
Here’s how you make a BIG impact in small, joyful ways:
Brighten a Pet's Day
A quick walk or cuddle session can turn a nervous, lonely animal into a happy, hopeful one.
Support the Shelter Squad
Every load of laundry, clean dish, or organized shelf helps staff focus on animals that need extra care.
Help Pets Get Adopted
From snapping cute photos to helping at meet-and-greets, you’re part of every “forever home” success story.
Spread Good Vibes Everywhere
Your energy, kindness, and love for animals create a welcoming, uplifting environment that everyone feels—pets and humans alike.
